Does she know her own running mate?

Just watch the last minute where Katie Couric asks essentially the same question three times. How can she NOT KNOW the accomplishments and reforms by her "maverick" running mate???? Even the Republican supporters have to be asking "what the hell?" Yes, she is apparently a very nice woman but jeez, she is so unprepared for this high of an office.

All of her answers seem very rehearsed and revolve around catch-phrases..."track record," "maverick," "reform", etc.

It is scary, I think. I so hope that people can see how unprepared she is to serve in this office. I keep thinking the same thing, Struke, that her answers are all ones she has learned from being coached before being interviewed. Whenever she comes up against a question she hasn't been coached on, she throws out the words like "maverick" that you mention and avoids answering the question.

I am so bored with Palin.

I only wish other people could put their political pride aside and see her for what she really is.

Daisy...exactly. There's a reason why she has done only three tv interviews. If she is so well prepared to handle the top job or the v-p job, why not do more than photo ops at campaign appearances?

Bella...no arguments here. I talked to a longtime friend of mine last night who said he is Republican but cannot believe (in his words) how stupid Palin is. I am just amazed that she has not done one interview without looking unprepared or spewing tons of catchphrases and buzzwords. I am extremely grateful she has stopped using the "hockey mom" references. I think she was throwing that out there so much that people were beginning to think that that's all she really is. Even Matt Damon blasted her on it.

Gee, when I think of all the things I have done to help my children with their extracurricular actvities and school...makes me think I may be over qualified for that VP slot!

Bella...one thing is for sure and that is you would dominate in a debate on health care.
