Can someone please tell me why with the serious issues facing this country...why the warrant out for Lindsey Lohan is still newsworthy?

That's funny. When I was growing up in seventies(when dinosaurs roamed the earth), The only thing we had to rely on were the tabloids, aka scandal sheets. Nobody ever took those seriously, and the only places anyone ever admitted to reading them was while in the checkout line. Now the same stuff is broadcast 24/7 in the electronic media.
I guess Lindsay Lohan is a major story because we need to keep the world safe from Hollyweird types.
