Duh.

On Entertainment Tonight, there was a long feature the blonde anchor from the weekend show hanging out with Octomom. Octomom was coming home with two of her babies from a doctor's appointment and the paparazzi were all over her large vehicle. They actually followed her into her garage and she had to call the police to clear them away. A helicopter was also following above. While the photogs were banging on the windows, she kept saying things like, "Geez, I'm just a mom. Leave me alone."

After the photogs were off her lawn, Octomom went inside where she let the Entertainment Tonight anchor cradle her child.

Uh, hello, if you want to be known as just a mom, don't let E-T in your home.

Yeah, it seems to be that way with a lot of celebrities as well. They clamor for attention from the media posing and giving interviews and such and then turn around and complain when the paparazzi get out of hand or take photos they don't want published. There are limits and boundaries of good taste and decency, of course, but it doesn't seem to be possible to have your cake and eat it too in this situation. You are either a public figure or a private one. It's very difficult to switch back and forth from one to the other.
