Ok, as promised, here are more class video projects. Can you tell these kids really liked these projects? Seeing this kind of creativity come from the students is one of the best parts of my job. Please watch all of the videos and leave comments. Thank you!
I never expected students to pick a Beatles song to do a video to. This one, "Taxman," is incredible. The "taxmen" in this video are Rondre and Andy.
Up next is "Ready or Not" as performed by the Fugees professionally. Lauren stars in this video version with the help of Michelle, Rebecca, and Brittany.
The video below is a duet called "The Boy Is Mine" as sung by Monica and Brandy. Here, it's Myra and Randi.

All the videos were very creative, and they seemed to be professionally done, except for a few minor things.
Taxman - they took a very serious subject, and not only made it humorous, they also showed how we feel about being over taxed. Some part of it was too dark, especially Mr. Heath coming from the bathroom stall.
Ready or Not - creatively very well done. The split screen was wonderful, but it was too dark. I would have loved to see more details, so that I could enjoy the contrast between color and black/white.
The Boy Is Mine --- the sound was bad, I turned my computer sound all the way up and even than I barely heard them. Again, they need better lighting. Over all, it was OK, but not as creative as Taxman or Ready Or Not.
I think, based on my limited observations of films on television, your students are very talent and should be very successful should they choose to continue on this path.
Amias...I don't know what's up with the sound on "The Boy Is Mine." It plays fine on my computer. A little softer than the other two but still fine.
When videos are uploaded to YouTube, they have to be compressed, which many times sacrifices quality, like the light/dark issues in some videos.
More videos will be posted soon. Keep checking in!
My 16 year old grandson just ruled me out. He love the videos and he fixed the sound on my computer. I dare say he love the videos the girls made better --- lol.
Pat your kids on the back for me and tell them they are doing a wonderful job.
You know Struke, I read somewhere that YouTube would be paying for creative videos, or something like that back a few months ago. Maybe the student should try their hands at doing commercials. They certainly have the talent. By the way, do you know how much some companies pay for a 30 second commercial? I wish I had their talent, I would be making me some serious money right about now! LOL
Amias...first of all, your grandson is a brilliant young man. It's easy to see that brilliance runs in the family!
Thanks for the tip about YouTube paying for creative videos. I'll look into that.
