Today was Convocation, which is a formal welcome to new students. I'm guessing about 4-5 thousand students packed the student rec center. President Lloyd Jacobs spoke as well as a couple of other notables including the man in the picture, football coach Tom Amstutz. His UT Rockets open the season at Arizona and then at Eastern Michigan beofre coming home for Fresno State. On October 11, the Rockets go north to play Michigan. Go Rockets!Sunday, August 24, 2008

I've seen the Coach on TV quite a bit. From what I've heard he is very well-liked at Toledo. Go Rockets! (being a BG alum, I'm not supposed to say that----shhh! don't tell!) :D
Sounds like fun. I love college football!
Daisy...I hear ya being a BG grad myself. When the two schools play, I really don't know who I'll root for.
Bella...I especially love collge football now, since I am at a university.
